The following link is to a write-up on the installation of a Rotrex C30 supercharger and water/air intercooler on a 2.3-16 running Megasquirt EFI.
The result is a fast, responsive, civilized daily drive with few of the installation or operating complications of a turbo. The installation is not bolt-on but was straight forward and moved an already fast great handling car to the next level.
